6th Meeting of Singularities in the Brazilian Northeast
Published at: April 16, 2026 Category: Events, NewsThe Meeting of Singularities in the Northeast originates from the union of two initiatives that have gaining strength within the mathematical community of the region: the Encontro de Singularidades no Nordeste, organized by researchers from the Universidade Federal da Paraíba, and the Geometria Métrica e Topologia do Nordeste, created by members of the Universidade Federal do Ceará. In continuity with previous editions, we now present the VI ENSINO.
The event will take place from September 7–11, 2026, in Canoa Quebrada, Ceará, Brazil, with activities held at the Hotel Long Beach. The program will feature lectures, a mini-course, and poster sessions, encouraging interaction among researchers and students from different institutions.
Our aim is to establish a scientific meeting that reinforces the presence of these research areas within the national mathematical landscape. We look forward to welcoming participants from all regions and beyond to exchange ideas and experiences in an inspiring academic environment.
Call for Posters – Submit your work!
We strongly encourage researchers and students to contribute to the poster session.
