Prof. João Lucas Barbosa (Mathematics/UFC) was designated “Associado Honorário” of the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM) as a recognition to his scientific trajectory, his work in the formation of new researchers and his impressive contribution to the brazilian mathematical community.
